Not the biggest hidden gem of all time but whatever, this guy's music is a bliss

Dang, this is actually quite nice!
Also, some nice drone-y drones. I love his covers too - simple yet effective, just like his music

Yep, it's ambient techno alright
>>74780846
i was expecting more of a rating or critique... is it better than narkopop? didn't really bother with that one desu, but i have this one queued since some other pal recc it to me.

As far as music from that genre goes it's not too bad. Much more varied than Narkopop imho but it's really matter of a personal taste. To this day I feel like Narkopop is the best ambient techno release of this year just for nostalgia sake. But it should be enjoyable none the less. Narkopop is more chilled-out but Linzatti's more punch-y, energetic, more dynamic.

so ambient for dance music fans, lmao. thanks for your insight friend. might even check out narkopop next to compare myself.
>>74781006
not him, but if you havent listened to pop yet you should do that before narkopop
if you do then you know what to expect
>>74781006
Not a problem!
Listen to the anon here too: >>74781042
Narkopop is a shit start to Gas. You might as well start from Pop if you haven't heard anything from him
Can I get some recs for good ambient please?
Whenever I look for ambient it either turns out to be ambient techno or new age which isn't really what I want
I really like Tim hecker (more specifically radio amor) and fennesz so any recommendations for more ambitious ambient would be great. If not I'm just bumping your thread so win win either way

Tim Hecker (noisy):
Belong - October Language
Yellow Swans - Going Places
Jeffre Cantu Ledesma - Love is a Stream
Fennesz (glitchy):
Oval - 94 Diskont
Jim O'Rourke - I'm Happy, I'm Singing, and a 1,2,3,4
>>74781183
Ben Frost, Rafael Anton Irisarri, Lawrence English, Infinite Body, Lustmord and anything to the picture related
>>74781289
this is a good chart but it should be noted that lambent material has a 15 minute noisy track
>>74777935
this is really really good
