When did you outgrow QOTSA, /mu/?

Never got into them because they suck

I don't think I will, but I'll probably stop being hyped for new albums

Oh man. It's feels to tragic to admit this, but yeah, same.
I'm an absolute diehard fan, know every lyric, have seen them live 8 times. But this and ...Like Clockwork? Not the same QotSA.
Here are my favourite songs from each album:
Era Vulgaris: Suture your Future
Lullabies: This Blood is Love
S/T: You Can't Quit Me Baby
Rated R: I Think I Lost My Headache
Songs for the Deaf: A Song for the Deaf
...Like Clockwork: Kalopsia
But there's just something about the production on this new one, and the change in Josh's vocals, and the lack of any interesting drumming.
Seriously. Reduce the synths, give Jon something more to do, and get Chris Goss to produce it. It would have been so much better.
Even if you don't like the album as much as their others, they're still the only rock band worth any kind of attention currently
