Jesus Christ I fucking love this album.
Like, it's objectively a great album. Why the fuck are the only real review I've found is from The Guardian? Has it really flown under the radar?
Also mfw Kirin's playing near me next month
also mfw he retweets me

hes a nobody tbqh

Yeah its my favourite album from this year. I really hope he does well cause a lot of tracks are pretty accessible.
His last album was pretty niche and this one has blown up a lot considering no one had heard of him outside of upside down land, so give him time

I get he's supposed to be mocking ultra-masculinity, but his voice is often irritating and the production is purposely generic

It might've just beaten out Crack Up for my AOTY.
I was really shocked to discover he had no wikipedia page, then could not believe he only had 2,000 followers on Twitter.
This album's so good he deserves to at least become a cult-success or something. As someone who can have a song ruined by shitty, subpar lyrics, I fucking love his tongue-in-cheek writing on the album. On my fifth listen and I'm still noticing stuff
>it's different now
>but it wasn't then.
It's trash compared to Embracism

>Jesus Christ I fucking love Anthony Fantano
FTFY

Did discover it through Fantano but I don't actually really watch him; sometimes watch his critiques of songs I like on a blue moon.
But he is a decent reviewer tho so I might. God knows it's better than the unreliable fucks at Pitchfork, The Guardian etc
Post a Mega then.
