>>74758748
same with me, but I'd just buy an album for 40 dollars if it was something I really like and it's new
Honestly AUD yr lookin at $35/$40 for a new oversees, local releases for $25 and used >25

Dude go back to 2009 and stay there. Nobody collects vinyl anymore you mess of a man. The absolute state of this board

>he fell for the vinyl meme
Depends on the record obviously...
~£10 for a 12''
~£20 for an LP
Most of the records I buy are way cheaper than that second hand though
AUD $25 for a double LP
for new albums, I'm happy to pay $20-$25, maybe up to $30 for a double-LP but that already starts to feel pricey
for old vinyl records there is a lot of variance - for classic albums and older pressings my pain threshold is roughly at $40, but I've bought individual albums up to $90

Ausfag here.
I generally expect a new album on vinyl (that isn't some limited edition of some kind) to be typically between $30-40AU delivered. Anything above that is on the expensive side, anything below that is on the cheap side. If you're buying locally in a store you might add $5 to both of those figures I guess but I get all my vinyl and CDs in the post.

Only plebs like you dont know that vinyl holds the best sound quality. Now, if you complain to me about the price to set that up, thats another story. You really need to make quite the investment for a nice turntable and the vinyls themselfes
>>74758712
€15 obscure 2nd hand
€20 new

Buy 1-5 dollar records of people you've never heard of at flea markets and bargain bins. That's how the cool kids do it.

>>74764031
i'm not a jobless neet though
>>74758712
It depends on the packaging. If it's just a normal, black record in a sleeve with a tracklist slip, then $15 max. But if it comes with some cool gimmicky shit, then it could definitely charge more and I'd be OK with it.
