I try to listen to political albums for the music but the content is just too in-your-face. Politics in music just doesn't work imo. There's no room for logical arguments, no room to do anything but sloganeering. And it's all one-way diatribes, there's no conversation or self-criticism going on, I can't stand politics if it's reduced to that. RATM, Public Enemy, Dead Kennedys. All bands I should think are great but instead find mostly obnoxious.
