Oasis got stale after morning glory and i would suggest listening to their self titled album before calling them "shit"

They were also very versatile with songs like Essex dogs which is very slint influenced

it's cause they can't write good albums, and only a handful of decent songs. Probably one of the most overrated bands, the only alright ideas were the ones they stole from American indie bands--then they ruined them by putting their shitty Britpop spin on them. Gorillaz are ok though

Nirvana happened and after Kurt shotgunned himself, people wanted more music like grunge. Then Weezer happened and alt. rock went wacko modern. Except Radiohead, buncha weird bastards. Anywho, Blur wasn't consistent, which isn't a bad thing.
