i've actually done this before but i don't have two phones to play music off of so i play one album through one earbud and the one through the other they should be mono by the way but you can get some cool syncopated stuff and weird mixes with heavy stereo mixed albums like piper at the gates of dawn and on avery's island

i listen to only one song per day and that's it. listening to entire albums, especially multiple albums in succession is ridiculous and vile.
