What's a good way to start learning music threory?

Don't try learning theory without performing it, honestly. This may sound kinda stupid but it's a lot easier to grasp certain concepts when you're actually playing them. Simple example, it's a lot easier to grasp wjhy I-V-vi-IV sounds nice when you're actually playing it.
