I can't see how anyone could enjoy Autechre. I can understand that some people hear these strings of bleeps and bloops and tell themselves (wrongly); "This is intelligent music. I am intelligent." But it can't be enjoyable because it's way too emotionally abstract.

Just another failed attempt by the Brits to create a homegrown version of Detroit Techno in the early 90's. Much like the rest of Warp's Belleville-Three-Imitating Artificial Intelligence artists, or Acid House, Bleep Techno, and Breakbeat Hardcore. It's all shit.

Pls learn to process complex emotions before shitting on an artist. Music is based on patterns and autechre has patterns, they're just harder to hear on first listen so it sounds "too deep" to ppl. If you like the style give an album a few tries and you'll start to tap your foot to it and it'll make sense.
