i read the article. i don't agree with it at all. daniel is genuinely talented. not in his singing or playing but as a songwriter and artist. his fans don't like him for his illness, to suggest that is absolutely stupid. his fans like him because of his simple but insightful and relatable lyrics and his catchy and natural song writing. his music is incredibly charming and has a rawness and innocence about it that other artists don't have. nothing to do with the fact that he is unwell.

If I'm being transparent, I've been a fan of X since about December of '16, and have been defending him through all of the cringey-edgy shit he did because I believe him to have some genuine musical talent. But this cover is pretty hard to defend, hoping he can pull through and drop an album that is actually good unlike the cover art.
