Why did /mu/ hate this album again?

Every album beyond Cross had a lot to live up to.

Honestly post cross Justice gets a lot of undeserved hate. I'll admit Woman was pretty weak but AVD had some awesome songs on it and I would say is almost as good if not as good as cross.

True, but this album is still good. It doesn't top Cross or AVD by any stretch, but after a few listens, there are some pretty solid tracks, especially Fire, Stop, and Randy. It just was a different direction for them, and it wasn't mind blowing. The live interpretations of the album's songs are better, in my opinion.
