Lit Me Up is a close second but Waste is just fucking fantastic and I haven't seen enough praise for it. It's less intense than my other favourite Brand New tracks (Limousine, Daisy, Luca) but every bit as poignant.

Wow I sure am glad that there's so much discussion going on about this incredibly experimental and game changing album that's sure to inspire many musicians for years to come. It was really difficult to find a place where people were discussing this super obscure band but i'm glad I came here right before giving up!

I'm glad to see them moving away from Daisy but still including elements from it. idk about the comparisons between this and TDAG though, think it stands apart.

honestly adds to the mystic atmosphere for me

that track in itself is very jumpy and the 'goofiness' of that line makes sense in the context of how the song sounds. adds that pomp and weirdness that this album needs to be interesting and somewhat experimental

Desert is the only song I truly dislike, but a lot of the ones in the middle just blend together for me. This album is a solid 7/10 but I wanted more.

Also unrelated, but Daisy is a masterpiece and should be remembered as the band's best album

Batter Up is total depression-kino

In the Water is probably my favorite, but Could Never Be Heaven is right up there even though I wasn't crazy about it on the first listen. The last verse is the best on the album. I think all of the lyrics sites have it wrong though:
