Yeah except they had already been talking about LCD Soundsystem being done after This Is Happening, and they were going to split up anyway. It sounds like James just found a way to kill two birds with one stone: (1) solve the MSG promoter problem and (2) find something to do for their final show. It's not that weird, and actually makes a lot of sense. I can't believe people are falling for this clickbaity bullshit pretending like it was some evil dastardly scheme.
