Punks tend to be extremists because they're typically outcasts (or were before it became upper class kids). Nazism and Communism are about as far as you can go and the symbols shock people.

There's tons of Socialist/Communist Punk, and it all depends on how far you want to go. Even the Clash were Socialists, and there's far further left bands than them. I know there's a Topsters of Marxist/Commie bands that included some punk bands that someone can probably post. As much as I'm going on about this I'm drawing a complete blank on full Marxists for some reason outside of Crisis, but there are lots, lots more, honest.

Slaves is another great modern and political punk band. They're about on par with The Clash in terms of politics. Pro-worker, pro-social welfare, anti-authoritarian, anti-apathy, etc.
