Nirvana were way different, kurt was a proto mu poster and had great taste in music. He appreciated underground punk and hardcore music but also liked really saccharine pop like shonen knife, and also classic rock like the Beatles and areosmith.

I dont think taylor swift is going to shout out varg and do a black metal song on one of her albums.
