God Only Knows is clearly the better song but they're not really all that comparable. Here There And Everywhere is far more intimate and gentle. It's beauty comes from its simplicity, and while God Only Knows has a similar sentiment it's still grandiose in a way Here There And Everywhere wasn't or even tried to be.

McCartney and Wilson both have incredible ears for melody but McCartney tends to use it to create succinct little self contained pieces (or at least that's when he's at his best) while of course Wilson likes to be pretty expansive. Tbh I think people compare the bands too much. Sure there are some wider similarities and cross influence but when you get down to it they had wholly different approaches and process to writing music.
