This, or at least I would hope so. Real Gone was his last good album and I would like to hear another at the same caliber of Swordfishtrombones before he is done/dies

Real Gone is my favorite of his, so I think he's got to have more in him. Bad As Me I liked but it was clearly a step down from Real Gone, so hopefully that downward trend doesn't continue. I mean shit, he's been playing the part of an old man his whole career and now he's actually an old man, maybe he's yet to reach his final form

Why do so many people dislike Bad As Me? I thought it was a really solid and memorable album

It's great, but I don't think it's on the level of his best albums. I also just don't find myself going back to it too much

I wouldn't say I disliked it so much as I thought that Tom had done a lot of the same things better in previous albums. Hell Broke Luce is a real standout though.

An album he records as a spooky skellington would be the crux of his career and he knows it
