Oh boy /mu/ it's time for another David Bowie Thread!
Let's discuss why Bowie was great not only for music, but also for Labyrinth and that one Mongolian Shadow Puppet Show called JoJo
Never watched any of his films and besides The Man Who Fell To Earth and I don't intend to, despite the fact he is my favourite music artist and I know every one of his albums practically line for line. Labryinth looks cringey as fuck tbqh, and he was an average actor at best.

Fair enough my good man

He's pretty fun in Labyrinth. He should've played more over-the-top villains.
I don't think I am far off in saying that he was the best, most interesting, and consistently versatile artist of the 70's. The other decades don't really hold a candle to his 70's work.

The key to Bowie's greatness is that his albums and songs were all short. The guy said more with less.

Eh, he was pretty great in TMWFTE. I'd say he's above average. Labyrinth is a great time, you should watch it, and he was also good in Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. Watch Twin Peaks.
