I was thinking about this as I was typing out that post but all things considered I think Blind Guardian is better overall. Also I don't think I've heard any Kamelot since Roy Khan left.

Just checked randomly and I wasn't aware there was a new Rhapsody of Fire album, better listen to that.

I don't even know if/where/how I should start to debate this. I love almost all of them except the very early speed metal ones, which I like, but not to the same extent as Somewhere far Beyond and beyond.
