Praise Lil Peep
they've been pushing this guy hard, next release is gonna be bnm car seat headrest-style
>>74599592
>no bnm
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *breathes in* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
PANNED
>>74599634
it's a pretty good debut. why would you expect bnm?
Sheldon Pearce thought this edgy Soundcloud white boy rap deserved a 7.3 but The Underside of Power was only worth a 5.8
>>74599647
Seriously. It's 24 minutes. The scores pretty accurate.
>>74599618
pls dont compare csh to this
>>74599970
yeah csh is absolute shit
>>74599955
Numbers don't lie. It's great.
>>74600816
great is 8.5+, dumbass. 7.3 is just a cut above mediocre
>>74599998
hows your bandcamp
stop shilling this piece of shit
>>74599592
Better Off Dying was alright, apart from that the record was very bad. He often fails to develop any musical ideas and resorts to slurring the hooks for 2 minutes. With that said, the hooks are often catchy, I just wish there was a song around them.
First two tracks were good, rest was shit.
Hellboy was literally identical in that regard.
Wish he was better. He has some great songs but just so much garbage, especially the features he chooses.
>>74599970
they're like equally bad
>>74599998
this
Friendly reminder that this is several points higher than any mars volta review. Not to mention this was Gustav's debut. Peep haters BTFO'd
Not a bad album, but nothing new. Sounds like all his other songs and it's boring to listen to him after a while.
>>74599592
A 7 on Pitchfork is a 5 anywhere else
>>74603006
lol no
>>74599634
dude he's white they don't inflate scores for him
>>74603982
it's called affirmative action thank you very much
>>74603982
But he's gay now so they actually might have
>>74603982
Hip hop in general gets inflated scores. Kind of like how you pretend to like a child's painting, in reality you know it's shit but you say it's great so you don't hurt their feelings. The problem now is we've been doing this for so long that people believe the genre to be good.
>>74599592
There's a couple good tracks but as an album I can't listen through it. It's like revisiting my 6th grade self in the worst possible way
Listening to this now. Save That Shit is great.
>>74605210
NOTHING LIKE THEM OTHER MOTHERFUCKERS I COULD MAKE YOU RICH
>>74604698
>white boi plays guitar like a fucking amateur bitch and sings over top with his "unique voice"
"it's high art, itaots is unironically great"
>black kids write and deliver complex, technically difficult raps and constantly innovate in production work
"it's just some nigger talking over frootyloops shit"
kill ursleves
>>74606652
OK this is serious "we wuzzing" LMAO
>>74606652
You can infer a lot from a post, can't you?
>>74606652
there is no rap album that can even touch itaots
it's a joke to even consider it
>>74606766
Not him but the fat log that just came out of my asshole can't be touched by itaots.
And somehow it's still better than any c(rap) album
It's aoty
>>74606766
If you are being honest, lmao
Hemorrhoids are better than itaots
>>74606766
so this is the power of autism
literally pic related puts out better albums than itaots. it is the most meme'd album in history and one day you're gonna be trying to explain to some "normie" music theory major you have a crush on why itaots is worth suffering through even once and realize the extent of your error
>>74607378
that's an oddly specific answer anon. you wanna talk?
I think Lil Peep needs a writing coach, or even a ghostwriter. There's just nothing interesting about 90% of his songwriting. And he doesn't do his own production, so he really is the weakest part of his own music.
I'd like to see him grow, because his voice and the vocal effects he uses are pretty attractive. Benz Truck is pretty strong like that. Strong production, strong vocals, but it isn't about anything, just generic turnt lyrics. Gets way worse on slow songs.
>>74608094
There were ghost writers and the like involved with this album. Rob Cavallo, George Astasio to name a couple
>>74608094
He actually doesn't write any of his own music
>>74608094
>>74608209
>>74608287
t. haters in denial
Peep is the future of emo and hiphop
>>74608349
I am a huge Peep fan that's why I know who was involved with the album you fool
>>74608349
There was an interview where he talks about having nothing to do with the music. He is just a poster boy.
