you get berated by bitter, cynical, nihilistic virgins and you will like it
What's wrong with this album?
Nothing, you weren't a fucking idiot who over exaggerated the hate for it because it wasn't Neon Bible.
There's like 2 ok songs on it the rest is absolute trash

On my first listen I really enjoyed the album, and wasn't yet tainted by the overall reception. But I was also working from home in my underwear drinking coffee and hitting that perfect euphoria moment with the caffeine.
Overall I can understand the hate, it's not up to par with their other stuff (lyrically especially). But I have to admit... I find myself listening to it more than I found myself listening to Reflektor. I just dig the vibe more than Reflektor. That's not really an indication of quality though, I probably listen to the Bends more often than Kid A simply because if I listened to Kid A all the time I would be a moody fuck all the time, and The Bends makes me smile like an idiot. But I know and understand that Kid A is a much, much better album.
Also I just really like the song "Everything Now", I think that holds up to some of their best songs. I didn't listen to any of the singles before the album leaked so I'm not sure if that helped my overall impression.

If song random indie pop band came out with this. it would be seen as a good album but it just doesn't come close to Arcade Fire's other albums.

I think that It's their worst album, but it's really not an awful album, and I agree with you on your opinion of the song Everything Now. No matter how much hate it gets, the song has really grown on me and is one of my favorite of the year so far.
