Anybody know how Fair Use act or Parody law or whatever might protect me in sampling some audio?

I've got a friend who's asked me to make some lo-fi hippity hop or similar for an ad on his "commercial use" new youtube channel.

Any feedback is appreciated.

There are organisations you can speak to, I tried it but they represent the people you want to sample so they may not be too helpful. Maybe ask youtube? Or speak to the people you're interested in sampling, they may help you gain the publishing rights which would be terrific.
