well when I first heard jdilla i thought it was pretty cool but I was having issues with my tatstes at that point and sort of dressed half hippie dipster and half hiphop dipset, but then after awhile of listening to dilla I started to relaize he was changing me. letting him into my life opened me up to so many new things like learning about culture and who I really was deep down in my core. I started doing yoga and gardening and found myself gravitating towards only a few new friends and losing most of my acquaintances until finally I was free to just express myself. It felt so good to be me as I was changing and I thought, "I need to repay this debt to Jdilla somehow by spreading his message" and that's why I upload all my new hip hop tracks to soundcloud as Jdilla tributes. I have 43 dilla tribute albums on my bandcamp ALL FREE because that's how dilla would have wanted it. At the rate I was going I would have been dead in a ditch 10 years ago but truth be told the man changed my life. Actually he saved my life.
