Thoughts on Todd's 70's work?

I wish I liked it more than I do.
I find some stuff ok but I don't really like singy-songwritery stuff that much/mellow 70s rock

I am amazed that he wrote everything, sang everything, played all the instruments, did all the recording and mixing of everything on his first couple of albums when he was like 19-20 years old though
