Are nay of his albums worth a listen or is he just a gimmick?

Because 15 year olds love him it's hip for 16 year olds to write him off completely to be cool, but only SSLP and MMLP are really any good.

the Marshall Mathers LP is pretty good, all his other album have like 2-4 decent songs.

Hes worth a listen for his wit alone - say what you will but the guy is talented. Albums did not age well. Anything after MMLP is trash.

His three first albums are very good imo SSLP-MMLP-TES (not inculding Infinite) and if you take them with a grain of salt I'm sure you will enjoy them. MMLP is his best and you can start off with that if you're too lazy, but if you have a little patience SSLP is quite good. TES has it's highs and lows, but still a very good album.

SSLP and MMLP are decent. You might like The Eminem Show if you enjoyed those two, but I personally hated it. Everything single thing he had made since then is indefensible garbage. Also, Infinite is underrated

He's a good rapper who makes mediocre music.
His rhyme schemes are top shit most of the time but most of his songs aren't super well put together
