Uncle Acid - The Night Creeper

A favorite album of mine, very repetitive riffing but has an unparalleled atmosphere and lyrical structure.
Plays out almost like a creep psych noire.

You'll want to listen to more minimalism but assuming that you already have try fela kuti. Fela brings in his entire band with repetitive polyrhythmic beats and builds up the sound to the apex where puts down his sax and sings (usually political but not always)

OP if you're really into "builds on a single idea thing" I HIGHLY recommend 2 albums by Autechre: LP5 and Trip Repetae. every track just takes one theme, loops it, adds to it, takes away from it, varies it slightly, etc.

Meshuggahs catch thirty-three. Can be a bit of a chore to listen to, but it's worth it. Ridiculously trippy album but also very depressing at times.
