Would you kindly elaborate?
Since nothing else is going on, why not remember the great John Murphy? Punk pioneer, industrial visionaire, drummer of Naevus, Knifeladder and Scorpion Wind, and concert companion of Death In June until shortly before his death in 2015, also known from various neofolk and post-industrial compilations under his solo-monicker Shining Vril.

I very much recommend his and Nikolas Schreck's performance "In her thrall" for a demonstration of his capabilities as an improvising live musician:

Are we talking about pagan folk in these threads too?
Heard pic related last night, it's p. good but not as good as I was hoping, maybe it'll grow on me.
>>74568722
Sure. Pagan folk, dark folk, apocalyptic folk, loner folk, totenpop, nihilist suicide pop, the whole bag!
What's some good pagan folk you like?
Death In June's later works are pretty essential neo-folk
>>74566535
fuck off dude
>>74569169
All of Death In June's discography is essential neofolk.

I really like Krynitza's first two albums and Volkolak's folk stuff after they stepped away from metal. Early Faun is good too, along with Qntal but that's not really "folk," just medieval trappings.
I got that Wolcensmen record in the mail a while back and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Hi! I was absent for a bit, taking a bath. Listened to Black Antlers while doing so. Very nice album.
Yes, I fucking love Shining Vril. I only heard of John Murphy after he passed but Naevus, Knifeladder and Shining Vril are among my favourite bands now. Wish he had done more solo stuff. I'm so glad that recording of his show with Nikolas Schreck exists (O A Weird Flower from that set is one of my overall favourite songs, it's on the commemorative compilation All My Sins Remembered).
If you get the job, are you still allowed to sell your seed there?
>>74570816
Im going to download all of shining vril now. I'm glad you like black antlers, it's a great album
haha I was never A doner there, it's a phlebotomist job, biggest sperm bank in America actually

I think Flowers from Exile is a 10/10. Very confused when I see people say that Odesse and the title track are weak songs.
>>74572333
I wouldn't say 10/10 necessarily but under the right circumstances any Rome album is, except for Hell Money. I remember thinking the same of Die Aesthetik and later of Hyperion Machine.
>>74572184
Take On Me and Careless Whisper are top tier.
>>74572184
They're fun. The Sign is their best.

Can someone explain me the meaning of Sex with Sun Ra by Coil?
>>74573816
Gonna do it, thank you
>>74574477
coil was gay, sun ra was gay, coil was eccentric , sun ra was eccentric. Coil were fans so I assume they just made a song about how insane sun ra was
