Throw a stone into a crowd of pseudo-intellectuals and I'm sure you'd find his equivalent

he isn't a pseudo-intellectual though. he knows his subject matter and actually understands what he's talking about, while still being able to explain the core idea's of a book in a way that people can understand. being able to understand subject matter is one thing, but being able to explain it to a crowd of people with average intelligence, that's actually being smart.

Any man who wears tank tops doesn't deserve my attention. But to be fair to him I actually do watch his videos and he makes some good point on occasion however it'd be more interesting to me if he actually developed on these ideas and you simply can't do that in a ten minute long video.
some wikipedia skimmer who resorts to wishy washy adjectival description because he doesn't have any theoretical background
also, zany antics and posturing, i recommend you his attempts at filmmaking if you aren't convinced you are facing a massive pompous faggot yet

sadly, most people don't like to watch video's longer than 10 minutes. if he would make an i depth analysis of a book, or expand his ideas in a video, it would be too long for the general public to pay attention to. it would be interesting to see him develop his ideas more though.

I hate to break it to you man but the general public are not searching youtube for reviews of Don DeLilo
>>74564600
no he fucking doesn't. have you actually seen his videos? even saying that "he barely scratches the surface" would be an understatement. this pretentious faggot who lives with his mother is a prime example of pseudo-intellectuals you find on /lit/.

He's the kind of guy who spends 95% of his reading time with fiction and the rest halfheartedly with overlooking a few pages of non-fiction.
What do you think he listens to?
>>74564029
faggot. why are you posting this on /mu/
>>74564600
I just watched this video and he does nothing but recount the Genesis story of the fall of eden and then quotes the most famous part of paradise lost. that's the entire video
