lmao who else would it implicate?
You go to school.
Or go to a library and ask for books on music theory. Whichever floats your boat.
Listen to Bach. Any Bach, really. Teaches you loads about scales and countermelodies.
Beethoven's also worth your time- he is the most efficient composer. Symphony No. 5 gives it's main theme across in 6 notes.
As for reading, this book seems promising: https://www.amazon.com/Music-Theory-Dummies-Michael-Pilhofer/dp/1118990943/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1502764428&sr=8-1&keywords=music+theory+for+dummies
