I really need more music and I like melancholy, downtempo music.
Anyone got any ( preferably current) artists that do downtempo music? I know that's vague but I'll give you examples of what im looking for:

In essence, generally pop music that has frequent soft moments and an emphasis on direct songwriting (often times influenced by black american music). I just have a hard on for that and Im having trouble finding more.

Oh I already love Donny. I was gonna include him but most of his stuff is more ornate than I was thinking. Also he's...dead. And I was looking for more modern versions.
