nothing sounds quite like they did. they blended classic rock, jazz, and punk in a way that no other bands really did. nomeansno was jaxzy, especially their earlier stuff. if you havent already checked out mission of burma, fugazi, husker dü, big black, or early butthole surfers then do so. all from around the same time and took hc punk into new directions.
