Glad you like it. I am German (which is why there's so much German neofolk on there). Speaking German really is beneficial whe nlistening to industrial and expecially neofolk with such a large and productive scene.

indeed it is. when I was super young, my mom and I really enjoyed rammstein together so i guess that's what kick started it haha they are a guilty pleasure today. Did get to see them live my senior year in 2011, great show.
Anyway I find as a native english speaker German is really fun to learn, I enjoyed it and talking to others.

Never really got into Rammstein for the same reason they are such a great gateway into learning German - their use of our language is so simple. Short words forming short sentences. I only recently listened to some of their music on youtube again and for the first time found their lyrics full of wit - Mann Gegen Mann is so clever with so few words. The real fun about German is in how infinitely long you can spin your sentences and some artists do it very elegantly - one thing I love about Forseti and Inneres Gebirge.
If you ever want to test your German, try this (it's not neofolk at all, in fact it's "rap" although that descriptor does not do it justice)
illoyal.bandcamp.com/album/das-krankenhaus-ist-unendlich
You might also enjoy it as a friend of experimental electronic music. Illoyal really does use the German laguage to its full extent - unlike other "rappers" he doesn't lose himself to profanity while doing so, most of the lyrics are of an almost animistic nature, storytelling of either microscopic or gigantic processes, dreams, metaphors and cyclical occurrences.

That second EBM song is beautiful, I'll have to research the artist. I must admit I still can't into techno. I should probably listen to Sonne Hagal more, every time I started listening to one of their albums I got distracted and soon switched to something like Forseti or Darkwood. Now that I listen to it again, I must admit there are some great songs on Ockerwasser.

Yes i love how simple and yet all the double meanings in German words compared to English ones. I'll deffinelty be looking at the music you linked me.
That song by coesy tutti is great. Since you arn't to well verse din the genre, she is form the group throbbing gristle who are mostly considered the pioneers of industrial music ( same band that sleazy [coil ] and genesis p [psychic tv] came from) She and chris the other person form the band, made their own work as well which is great electro industrial and ebm. would totally suggest it if you are interested in the genre.
Ockerwasser has many great songs.

Ah yes, I listened to a bit of Thobbing Gristle and Coil for "historical" reasons but never really got into actual industrial, however deep into the niches of post-industrial I dug. Same goes for early C93. What a beautiful version of All The Pretty Little Horses. People keep telling me to start with Scatology but this sounds much more appealing. Same goes for that C93 song, damn beautiful.

Spiritual Front is the obvious choice, Rotten Roma Casino is gay as hell. Rome also has some gay lyrics mixed in with all the political stuff.

Downloading that one and The Ape Of Naples right now. You have a good evening as well. Just this afternoon as I visited my grandparents I thought how sad it is that all they do every day is sleep, eat and watch TV. Then I remembered how much time I spend on my computer daily. I don't watch much TV or movies either these days but there is magic in all media. David Lynch knows a thing or two of mysticism. Recently I rewatched Lars von Trier's Nymph()maniac and it struck as the film equivalent of what is happening in neofolk - allusions to Evola, Jünger and norse "paganism", heretic religious references, the ethos of war and sex, "ideological incorrectness", all of it wrapped in a Vama Marga enlightenment narrative.

Anyway, a good night to all
