I don't, a bunch of bandwagoners just hopped on the Suf hype train with C&L but don't understand that the minimalist sound on that album is not at all his strong suit because Pitchfork told them it was his best album. This album is on par with Age of Adz, fucking phenomenal stuff.

This is actually one of the best projects Sufjan has done. Also it is stupid of listeners to think the ambient tracks are filler just because there is no singing. There are 3 other guys names on this and everyone just wants Sufjan

pitchfork was on it for once, sufjan's lyrics just felt way too empty/impersonal/abstract, the music itself is pretty good but there's not much to keep me coming back
