it was ok

few good songs, too many lame filler tracks. Just way too many songs on there to have any kind of consistency. Singles generally are pretty good though

this. the other producers he worked with as well seemed like fags and in the interview i saw it seemed like they took majority of control of the production.

whole album feels like a bunch of big name artists with 2D occasionally thrown in there

gorillaz for the most part has always been mediocre. interesting instrumentals and lyrics yes, but for every two songs you find like this the rest of the album is boring overproduced garbage.

the singles were mostly tight, a few solid gems hidden in the mix that i still return to, but overall it felt really bloated and underwhelming. when their meme song is better than the majority of actual tracks, theres a problem.

This. Damon seemed to have lost his touch with this album. The natural sounding bass and percussion featured on Demon Days and Gorillaz are non existent. The whole album feels like a demo tape with garage-tier production. Not even a DOOM collab could have saved it.

Thank being said, I liked Andromeda and Ascension. That's it.
