Love GTH, it's annoying some pricks have decided to start hating on it via invading threads where there's usually just a nice, harmless discussion on the band. Also love Homogenic and Bowie. Although two albums by the same artist twice? Surely it's a better idea to just choose your fave out of those and then include albums by other artists to show a wider variety of your taste. Dirt was technically the first album I got on vinyl. I say technically because I got them all for Christmas one year, but it was the first one to arrive here, about two weeks prior to christmas, and my grandfather, not knowing that it was vinyl, tossed it down the stairs.
It was completely undamaged. It was a goddamn miracle.

Thanks. Glad to hear your sister ended up ok. The bright side with him is that, although it's been hell for me and especially my parents, he himself handled it like a champ. Never ever showed fear, never worried, despite the fact that he was doubtless emotionally intelligent enough to grasp what death meant, what it represented. Even at the very end when he was just barely lucid he used what little energy he had to tell us he was ok, he felt fine, he wasn't scared, he felt safe. If there's a heaven he's there. If there's not then he still died a hero. In the end it all worked out, I think, just too soon.

I'm going to stop talking about this now, lol, this is an album thread, not a sob story board. Thanks for the kind words though, means a lot, especially from a stranger.
