This video works well as a snapshot of a specific time in US hardcore, but watched today and watched without having any knowledge of that time it makes Rollins come off as a ridiculous goon.

In reality the kid really is in the wrong and keeps making snide low-key insults and accusations regarding Black Flag's then-recent output in a way that was typical of snotty zine punks of the time.
Accusing a hardcore punk band of "going heavy metal" was very much a deliberate insult in those days.
