This albums influence into the tech-death sphere has only become a recent thing, most of the early 2000's acts were influenced far more by Necrophagist, Decapitated, and Psycroptic anyway.

To be fair I should've included Origin and Deeds Of Flesh as well to that list
Plus the sterile sound that's prevalent in modern tech death really started with bands like Brain Drill and The Faceless. Alongside that everything that came from the Unique Leader records amplified the problems created by the aforementioned bands.
