So why did they give it two different names? How a boring pop music can be called noise pop? There was no fucking noise in it. I was trying to get into Xiu Xiu, thought it will be something for me but then i found out it's nothing like I thought it would be. Is it just my opinion and all of you actually like it? I like noise rock though. Can you rec me something that is actually noisy?

I honestly don't understand your post but basically shoegaze is the love child between dream pop and noise pop. Noise pop is just inserting any type of noise (guitar feedback, white noise, etc) into pop music and there obviously is overlap with shoegaze, which is just using noisy elements from guitars to create a dreamlike feeling. There is some debate whether shoegaze is a genre or not, or just a technique of noise pop or a technique of dream pop, but whatever.
