every popular album or every overrated popular album

DSOTM is a good album to me. It's not the pinnacle of atmosphere and philosophy that some people claim it to be but it's at least thoughtful and touches on a lot of feelings that most people have and puts them into a relateable format through the music. It's one thing to say it's overrated but did you really not get any enjoyment out of it?

It's obviously not an album made of 7-10 excellent tracks, it's a complete experience that uses some of the smaller moments and moods to build to the overall story. It's also the one moment in his career that Roger Waters's writing actually works, rather than coming off as whiny and melodramatic or political for its own sake.
/mu/ just blames Roger Waters for the downfall of the band and pins everything he had a significant hand in as shit.
