Yung lean is one of the most/ if not the most underrated rapper

He's pretty influential considering he was doing all the things all the new wave Soundcloud rappers are doing now 4 or 5 years ago.
He also managed to get himself on Frank Ocean's album which was pre cool

Yung Lean was incredibly influential, honestly. I can't really pinpoint what is it that made him so influential, but I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say it's something related to genre fusion between vaporwave and its aesthetics with hip hop. It kinda shows today in the "chill lo-fi hip hop beats 24/7 for studying" livestreams on YouTube, too; that same mentality from vaporwave had an effect on hip hop and its production stuff.

i havent liked a single from him since yoshi city. he had a hot streak for a while there but i think that's done. the project with Dean Blunt was good, tho.
