This is the best pre-Rubber Soul Beatles album. Prove me wrong
WELL I BEGGED HER ON MY BENDING KNEES
Their best pre-Rubber-Soul album was their first album because it literally captured what they sounded like in concert. If you listen to any live bootleg recording with proper micwork, the songs sound nearly identical.
As you might know, the album was entirely recorded (start to finish) in one session on one day.

Help!
Not one even sort of weak song and I've Just Seen a Face is the best single Beatles song. Plus you know, Yesterday... Help! Is better than even a few of the albums after it (including Rubber Soul).
I agree that A Hard Day's Night is the second best pre-Rubber Soul album.

what a shit taste
Help! better than Rubber Soul?
Don't post here again

Shut the fuck up right now. There are no songs on Rubber Soul as good as I've Just Seen a Face or Yesterday. Help! the song is better opening song than Drive My Car. Ticket To Ride is a better hit single than Nowhere Man.

>Ticket To Ride is a better hit single than Nowhere Man.
That's debatable, but Nowhere Man is leagues better than "I've Just Seen A Face."
>>74494667
Lol, no. Nowhere Man is not better than any McCartney song.
>not Beatles for sale
Bunch of plebs in this thread
>>74494720
Even the Beatles themselves felt like Beatles for Sale was a low-effort album.
Let's get this out of the way.
>best to least
Magical Mystery Tour
The Beatles (white album)
Revolver
Help!
Abbey Road
Rubber Soul
Let It Be ...Naked
Sgt. Peppers
A Hard Day's Night
Beatles For Sale
Please Please Me
With The Beatles
Oh, and Ram and Band on the Run are better than any of these.

A Hard Day's Night is straight up the best Beatles album. I've been tryin to tell people this.

Eat it faggot
>>74494507
I think Help is slightly better, but Hard Day's Night is also good.

KYS

You must be a Brit.
In the U.S. I've Just Seen A Face is the opening track on Rubber Soul.

Not using exclusively the UK track lists on Beatles albums is about as pleb as you can be.
>>74494507
This. It's obviously Help!
I mean, I already love all the Beatlemania albums, but Help! is as good as any of their "album era" work.
Help!, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, I Need You.. I'll just stop because I'll end up listing every song on this thing.
It also has one of my favorite Beatle songs ever: Tell Me What You See. Best groove EVER

You might've gotten dubs, but not comparing the U.S. and British catalogues back to back is a pleb as one gets, M8!
>>74495872
It's a pointless exercise, you aren't "missing" anything by going with the British releases. Everything is collected on Past Masters.
