It always amazes me how underrated The Roots are. Impeccable lyrics, production, instrumentation, concepts, etc.

That album is a masterpiece, and so is Undun. Black Thought should be in everyone's top 10. He's certainly in my top 5

Also this thing I found while browsing TMT the other days. It's hip hop like if Dj Screw does industrial inspired hip hop or something. Mostly really industrial in that the vocals aren't really in the forefront or anything.

I really do love how much more this decade so many people trying to do hip hop realized that they don't need to stick to the standard way of doing things. Also the fact that hip hop, too can still have dense production with many little sounds like its electronic brethren.
