ITT: albums plebs are right about

Plebs only know the singles from this album which, overall, is excellent. Possibly even Springsteen's best after Nebraska.

Lovely album. I like Zooropa most but this is still great.

about half of the writing on the album originated from Nebraska sessions, listen to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UBei3n4FOY

I was aware of that. I love that version.

Nebraska was good for the stripped down folkiness and felt more personal. Born in the USA is annoying for the cheesy 80's production that aged so poorly.

A lot of dad rockers don't like Born in the USA because of "muh synths"
>>74470943
I disagree. Tracks like Bobby Jean, I'm on Fire, and Working on the Highway have aged really well. Ironically, the only songs that I don't think have aged well are the title track and dancing in the dark

Yeah I agree with that. Also the fact that those songs sound quite dated sort of adds an element of nostalgia ro the album.

Actual plebs don't know about Springsteen. You ought to have at least *some* interest in music to know dadrock.
