How do mics and effects make some live acoustic guitar/vocal performances sound so good? Very rarely without any amplification does it sound so good, so im wondering how they make it sound so much more larger than life aside from just volume.

louder things sound better, the mic and positioning of the mic change the sound of the guitar, if you need a louder volume it's probaly a bigger venue so more reverb, the list goes on desu.
