CD is more consistent, LR has higher highs and lower lows
I'll take LR

Late registration is the more consistent album, but college dropout has an irresistible charm which makes it my favorite album of all time.

I think LR is a better album overall and arguably Kanye's magnum opus but TCD is pretty important to understand Kanye's trajectory of where he is now and has a lot of nostalgic charm.

These two albums are the greatest albums in hip hop history. I prefer LR but I don't skip any songs on either
