I had an epiphany the other day that 95% of Aphex Twin's early output is the result of him trying to annoy his neighbors. Listen to the elephant song, ventolin, etc. Those blips in donkey rhubarb are clearly just there to annoy.

He played a festival with Mike Skinner of The Streets on the bill, had a bunch of down syndromes playing netball and Mike got offended and thought it was 'tight' (mean) and called him a 'knob jockey'

In the song 4, the voice that pops up is his dad saying "Richard?" and he replies "yeah" this happened while he was recording sounds for snares and he put it in the track. His mom is on the Come to Daddy mix saying "You've got so many machines, Richard" and other stuff.
