more like holding a match just above a glass of water
guy produces okay albums and not much else
by making the samw fuzzy garage rock some 800 different times? RIP rock
Was talking about it with a friend. Ty Segall is on course to go down as one of the greats. Looking at how his music has evolved the man just keeps improving. And he seems to genuinely enjoy making music, always trying out different things and is in several bands.
Have seen him live twice and both shows were definitely in my top ten.
Sadly as >>74457675 said rock is pretty much dead (in the mainstream at least) so nobody will truly know how amazing he is.

He moved away from that sound
>>74457867
No he didn't

The new album isn't fuzzy not even close to as fuzzy as his first few records. Same can be said with emotional mugger
That album was probably just as fuzzy but it brought new things to the table and he made his own thing.
Fried Shallots is good.
