I started Karaoke at a bar two nights ago by singing Mr. Brightside and I was hammered and un buttoned my shirt and rubbed my chest when that line came on. Now my nickname is Mr. Brightside. I just started medical school three days ago.

This essentially what happened to me starting undergrad last September. Except it wasn't karaoke it was a normal club. My friends and I chant it all the time now.

Nah, it's generally accepted as decent here.

It's super frontloaded to me. The first half is easily at least an 8/10 but overall it's a 6/10.

I find it odd how little the Killers are discussed. I think they have some of their best work (singles) on Hot Fuss but as a whole album, its 4/5. Sam's Town is 5/5 though.

I just listened to "For Reasons Unknown" for the first time in a while. The sing itself may be an acquired taste but once you like it it's absolutely fantastic.
I think one of the craziest things about the killers is that Mr. Brightside is literally the first song they wrote.

I hate how contrarian everyone on the internet is for the killers. Especially on RYM.

The Strokes/Libertines are the only two worthy mainstream indie rock bands from last decade. The Killers really suck big dick.
