this track isn't bad. it just sounds exactly like something Purity Ring or Grimes would put out, and i'm not a fan of either one of those artists

the industrial sounding track in the teaser video sounded way cooler. i'm disappointed only because alice could be utilizing her voice so much better than this and pulling off some really cool sounds, but instead it seems like she's going in a pretty streamlined pop direction.

also this isn't dark at all and sounds nothing like "being eaten by a snake" or whatever she said

That was 4 years ago when she was a lot hotter. I still say she looked best around 2009-2010 when she had short black hair. And was about 21 or 22.

God damnit. I feel bad because the track is weak, but I actually wanted to see Alice do ok after such a long period without any new songs, post-CC breakup.

The video is cool though, and I don't know if it was her idea. I'm starting to think Alice is better at visual art, or making some kind of a presence than she is at making music. This just sounds like a kind of generic electronic track. She must have been able to try out more things in all this time? She should have done a reinvention, or at least put out something that was really challenging in some way.

the chorus is so fucking boring and repetitive. awkward lyrics too. no real artistry.
the video is pretty good, but par for the course if you consider she's involved in fashion. it won't make up for her general lack of talent. she should try to be a model while she's still young.
