Probably before these guys, so we can't blame them, but they seem to be the apotheosis of the trend.

Bands like AJJ are why I avoid art "spaces" like the plague.

People That Eat People, Can't Maintain and Knife Man are pretty good. I can see why some people don't like it. AJJ is a whiny Guthrie playing punk.
